Whats up with these now i have heard before that microsoft are stopping their wheel and allowing mat catz to make a wireless one as a replacement

Is this true as a really want to go to town and buy a microsoft one?

Or are the other ones i want ( i dont wanna soend 300 bloody quid) 70 max

The official MS one is still being made, it seems they keep changing the box etc, and have let retailers run down stocks before, but new stuff keeps trickling through.. they are £70 new online...

The Logitech drive fx just mimics a controller, so doesn't have proper force feedback, and the madcatz one I haven't heard much feedback on..

Obviously, if you have the cash, the Fanatec 911 Turbo S does 360/PC/PS3 and is the best wheel available (arguably), but costs an arm and a leg!

Get the Official MS one. Its really good and a solid build. Can'y go wrong with it.

MS Official is a great wheel. A good solid, well built wheel which is nice to handle.

Buy it :) What games you planning on using it with? Forza?

Get the official one, it's fine :) The force feedback is actually really strong, I was surprised by it - having not used a wheel before, it actually fights you, doesn't just rumble.

The pedals are fine, if you get annoyed with the brake pedal then just put a piece of cushion foam beneath it.

I have a Logitech ForceFX wheel. Bought it because it felt a lot more solid than the flimsy feeling ms wheel. I'm disappointed with the force feedback though. I know it's not true ff like the ms wheel but supposedly a good approximation of it according to reviews on the forza forums.
Would I be best off flogging it and grabbing an ms wheel?
