How are the Xbox 360 wireless controllers....good...or a pain in the butt? What I am getting at is i'm getting a 360 and require to buy two controolers and at the moment am not sure if I should buy the full system or the core package. Eigther way Ive got another controller and dont want to buy the full system then have to go buy two wired controllers. How are the batteries...do they lasy long...and is there any annoying resonsive delay with them being wireless????

Cheers for your input:)

Absolute ZERO (that's a big zer and and o) delay in response.

Battery life depends, but for me, I average about 6hrs gaming a day monday to friday, probably about 8hrs a day at the weekend and I'll charge them up maybe twice during the week.

Thing is, you'll be wise to buy the plug and charge kit (or the other kit) which takes probably about 1hr to fully charge the controller and it's literally that, play and charge, so you just unplug it from the charger and carry on.

ahh...cool. I didnt realise you get a kit that does that. Do you have to buy special betteries or does it come with the kit? Links??

Edit....

Sorry found them. Would you advise buying two charge kits if you had two wireless controllers???

Make sure you have two rechargable batteries, but you could get away with one play and charge, but to be honest, it isn't much extra, so go for two. The alternative is the fast charge pack which can (I think) charge two at once.

That dock rocks. I've always got a spare battery sitting there waiting :)
The wireless controller is one of the best I've used. Delays are a thing of the past and its sturdy enough to hit people (if you're playing fight night) with too.
