Hi i bought a xbox 360 on wednesday and got it home and it was faulty an error came on the screen saying contact microsoft so i returned back to the store and they replaced it, but this morning playing fight night on the joystick the right thumb stick clicked and came loose with no response and somthing was rattling inside the joystick so i returned the joystick back to the store and they replaced it with the one from the 360 i returned on wednesday but the thing is it aint responding it comes on and the green light keeps flashing but the buttons dont work is there anything i need to do to to set it up or somthihng ?

I believe the joypad just needs to be paired with the 360 - press the small connect button on the front of the 360 (beside the memory card ports), then press the connect button on top of the joypad. They should then pair up.

just as an aside, did anyone else get really confused when the documentation says 'press', and the console must just be 'pressed', but the controller required you to hold the connect button for a second or two? Took me a good 10 mins to figure out what i was doing wrong!
