Will be pulling the trigger on a 3700x for christmas - Just need to find a good motherboard for it. Ta for the feedback guys

It's approx. £120 and overclocks well. Tested Latencies: CL 16-16-16-36 Hopefully you can get IF 1900 and the RAM OC'ed 3800. My 3600 went to 3800 CL 16-16-16-36 at the stock 1.35 volts. That should net you decent performance. Then if you need every little bit, tighten the timings and increase the RAM voltage.

The 3700 is the significantly faster processor.
