made the 2hr trip to overclockers today and got myself an 3870x2

is any one having problems with crashing with the 8.2 drivers?

is my 3dmark 06 score ok 15940 ?

also my css stress test has taken a dive my 3870xt did 338 this does 134 whats up with that ?

also any one got a gpu-z shot of there 3870x2 as i think my bandwidth may be low 28.8gb/s

Not having any problems with crashing on the 8'2's. Apart from Second Life and that's a known problem, Second Life and newer ATI cards don't mix that well.

3dmark score sounds about right, slightly above what I'm getting.

Gpu-z reports my bandwidth at 28.8 same as yours.
 
just to make sure Crossfire is kicking in , try forcing AA to 16X in CCC and see if that improves anything just to test.

Also experiment between Standard and Advanced with Cat AI

With Source based games, i wouldnt think you would need to bother as ive just done a quick test for you

I get 225FPS and this is with everything in the settings at MAX AA AF everything, with a res of 1920 x 1200 with CCC set to default with the exception of Adaptive AA enabled
 
with aa 0n 4x and af on 8x i get 75fps in stres test :( ive tried the catalyst on and off and in performance mode and makes no difference

Seems weird as its a fresh install aswell,

You installed your mobo Chipset drivers and everything, then installed Cat 8.2 ?

Cant really see what else it can be if im honest
 
im going to rma it just waiting on an rma number how long does it take 2 get a replacement after they have recieved the faulty item

also when i bought it the antistatic bag seal sticker was ripped so obviously been opned before i got it could this be a pre owned card?
 
well just called ocuk and they found no problems with the card so they are sending it back 2 me ! i know it doesnt work but where do i stand now i baught it last saturday can a claim a refund? they wouldnt send me a different card :(

Yes, as long as you do it today or tomorrow, as you get 7 days under the distance selling act (i think), so send em a web-note. :)
 
Distance Trading does not apply if you purchased the card directly from the shop. However, Consumer Rights do apply and you should be able to return the card anyway.
