3930k temps

been playing around with my 3930k for a few days now got it 4.9Ghz @1.42v on idle it sits at 38/40 on full load hitting 70/72 running on custom water loop are these temps any good

Yes they are more than acceptable so long as that's the temperature reading from IBT.
What is the custom loop? Just so we can get a better idea of what temperatures you should expect.

Just for reference I'm running the massive Phanteks heatsink and 4.5GHz @ 1.375v and hit 80c in IBT.

yes, those temps are golden, I hit 80C on 4.5ghz on air, so keeping it to 70 at 4.9 is fine I'd say

Looks good to me. My 3930K hits 80C at 4.7GHz on air.

custom loop consists of alphacool d5 vario, 2 x 360 black ice extreme radiators, ek supreme hf waterblock, aquaero waterblock, Alphacool Cape Fuzion Core 30 Reservoir

Looks like you got a good chip.

Mine needs 1.46v for 4.8 :-(
