Right guys, my current PC is from back in 2009(i7-920!!). A couple of gfx upgrades has kept it going, but really think it's time move on and start a new system from scratch.

I want a gaming beast as well as workstation. i'd like to dual boot Windows and Linux. I'll be using it to run several VM's at once so need something with grunt and ram. I was looking at a 3960X based system, mainly because I love the performance of the TR. This system will likely keep me going for a similar amount of time as my current.

So needs to run COD Warzone in Ultra settings at 200fps!
Dual Boot Win/Linux
Vid/Photography editing
Several VM's for software analysis etc.

I have a Benq 27" 144HZ monitor(its Nvidia Vision ready - whatever that means) and a Dell 27" which I'll be keeping. Mouse n KB will be reused.

Would like to keep it around the £2k mark.

|Edit - would like it to be compact. Current case is MAHOOOSSSIIIVE and takes up way too much space.

How does this look? I'll keep my GTX1060 6gb until new cards appear later this year(from what I can gather reading current threads here) and maybe can grab the current top cards for a bit cheaper. I'll also keep my SSD and HDD's for the time being. And as much as I hate the size of my case, I guess I can re-use it? It's an Coolermaster HAF 932 case. Can I shave any extra off to get it under 2k?

My basket at Overclockers UK:
Total: £2,051.05 (includes shipping: £11.10)
