I am using an 8800GT graphics card and Dell 2209WA LCD screen. Can 3d glasses be bought that add depth to games?

I have seen monitors sold with glasses of some sort but wondered if you could buy the glasses seperate. Are they even any good?

You can buy them seperately but to make them work you have to have a monitor that can do 120hz. I am fairly sure the 8800 GT is a compatible card.
