You are not that far off the pace with that set-up. Your SM3.0 3dmarks are about right, I scored similar with my overclock 7800gt, but because I was using a faster CPU I broke 4k overall. With my 7900gt at stock I got 4.3ish.

The obvious advice is to make sure you've set everything to 'high performance' rather than 'high quality' (though i'm not sure how that works with ATI cards) and run the test again from a clean boot.

But dont expect massive gains, 3dmark06 is VERY demanding and very CPU dependant. For anything less than a 7800 card or 6800SLi rig it's virtually a slide show.

Well ** processor is only a 512kb cache core clocked at 2.0ghz, overclock your 3200+ venice to 2.6-2.8 on air no problem and try tightening up your ram timings.

I can't get it above 2.2 even with ram on lowest divider.

Oddly on my board the 266 divider is completely unstable and I have to use the 333 one regardless. Have you tried playing with one of the higher dividers and maybe loosening your ram and pushing it further?

no. i just tried 245 and diddnt even boot. all ram timings are on auto except MA Timing 2t.

I been using 166 divider, ill try lowering timings and using 133 divider

No no loosen the timings. Make them higher. Try 3-3-3-8. You might be able to get 210-220mhz maybe with value ram at those speeds.
