To be honest i dont like any of these benchmarking prgrams, the best bench program to my knowledge is crysis, if you get 30+frames with all setting on max and you can play it for 1 or more hours with 30 fps solid then your sorted.
 
and now it's worse...... just ran vantage on 64bit,,, score... under 10000 :'( :'( :'( how has it gone down? i now hate my graphics card.... is it worth a replacement? (4850) if so, could i get my money back (bought it near xmas) and what should i get instead (close to the same price preferable)

Of course Vantage will give a lower score than 06... it's the newer version. Compare your score to others and see if it's about right.
 
Also theres nothing that costs the same price and performs better, the graphics cards is the main thing that matters with 3dmark.

Compare your score on Vantage to other similar systems.
Scoring is completely different to previous versions.

u sure it wasn't a quad core? i get around 14860 with my quad
 
Gareth170:it was the same processor (dual) and i had forgotten it was over 28 days ago :P doesnt feel that long
Pred + BenM:there are no similar systems listed only the best
