This is interesting. I am now wondering if I have a similar issue. Everything was fine and then suddenly it wasn’t. I have cleaned the nozzle and calibrated the PID and calibrated the extruder. Still no joy. Occasionally I hear the extruder clicking. Is it possible to get a blockage between the hole where the filament feeds into the system and the nozzle.Hi again. Just to update the problem was a blockage between the boden tube and the nozzle inside the hot end itself. Funny enough the only part I did not replace. After all your advice I found a YouTube video on fixing crunchy prints and the guy says it is almost always an extrusion issue , so I stripped it down and luckily there it was. Thanks again for all replies and advice. One last thing , do I have to mark this thread as solved?.
