I found a link to a DepthQ® HDs3D-1 projector. I saw it was 3d vision ready and it got me wondering.
http://www.depthq.com/projector.html

1280x720, so really you would only need 1 card to run it. But being a projector do you think its possible to link up 3 for 3d surround lol?

ignore some things on the page.

Affordable – US$2995
lol.

sorry i didnt know where to put this thread :(

You won't really need 3x projectors for 3D Vision gaming... it will look awesome on just 1 wallsized projection even at 1280x (720p) - tho 1080p is nicer.

Could you imagine having the entire wall in front of you being projected onto and then the walls to your left and right as well
As I understand, "3D surround" displays have to be exactly aligned and flat or you get interference between the "popout" of each display and missing sections 'behind' the monitor. I don't have the hardware to check but if someone's got two or three displays could you try the following and report back? :)

The interference supposedly confuses your eyes and causes headaches.

the interference causes headaches because it makes the images stand out more. It gives it more depth. Apparently suppose to cause brain damage long term :\

but, if you have £9k to spend on 3 projectors, you could have a 3 cornered wall in your room designed for 3d vision with 3 projectors :)

break my heart?

Are there any 120Hz projectors that actually do 720p native? most of those on that list say 800x600 native in the specs :( my optoma is true 1280x720 and will take a 120Hz signal so works with 3D Vision but only displays 60Hz so its a little less than ideal.

EDIT: yeah thats a bit naff... from a quick look I can't see any in that list (other than the DepthQ) that have a native res higher than 1024x768 so 720p is gonna look ugly.

from that list, the acer h5360 is native 1280x720 and supports 120Hz. Optoma also have at least two models but they're not nvidia certified or something
