3d/walkaround animations?

What is used to create the '3d' animations on some websites where you can zoom round objects?
For example on a car manufacturer they have a car that can be spun round and zoomed in?

I want to try something similar out for some items I collect which I want to put on a website.

Allows you to create a 3D pdf apparently (never heard of one)

something which I use daily which creates similar stuff with images and media sets and video sets etc is Scene 7 (abit exspensive fair enough) but with this software you can easily create 3d images which can be spun around and zoomed in and out off etc.
