its a little more complicated than what I'm asking!!

I have Passive 3d I hate scan lines. and using AMD card
So I'm considering active, but I'm wondering whats the better route, that being Nvidia with their emitters or AMD and getting a monitors that comes with its own built in emitter/glasses. (and I'll still have options to use either card manufacturer)

thanks OCUK for NOT stocking any monitors like this in a 24" range

the route for the monitor is cheapest for me as I have an AMD card..
I so would like a universal emitter like Nvidia has, they have hit that on the head with implementation, as with AMD it's a mission having to get a 3rd party driver etc..

I jumped in and got a 3D setup this years, my old monitor is a 4:3 17" LCD, i kept running out of space on screen, so i thought its about time i moved on and i went big, with a asus 27" VG278H, i knew i was going to upgrade my system soon, from a ati card, but the old system started to play up, like shutting down at random times, so the system upgrade came sooner than i thought.
Anyway i have a nice nvidia card and i'm playing just about everything (games) in 3D, its a very very nice effects. But when i first started using 3D at the beginning i began to feel sick around 10mins into using the 3D glasses, but now after using 3D off and on its been some months now and the sickness feeling as just about stopped.
But if your interested in watching any 3D films bigger is better.

Well the reason I'm sticking with 24inch is because I have an eyefinity setup and want to keep even screens.

I'm seriously debating getting a Nvidia then the kit it will be more expensive but the pain in the back side will be gone with AMD's solution

I'm finding the interleaved gives me such eye pain as I can see all the scan lines I'm sure Passive is only suitable from a distance for PC gaming it's a nono for sure.

do you find nvidia solution good? im under the impression any 120hz monitor generally should work do you get sync issues?
as thats one reason I'm leaning towards the monitors supplied with glasses but OCUK dont stock them such a shame I think only one and thats 27inch :/

you can use the monitors with built in emitters with nvidia as well.

Im using a Samsung SA23700D brought from OCUK for £166.66 23" 3D 1080p with my sli'd gtx 570's.

works perfectly on 3D. and no need to buy the stupdily expensive nvidia kit

i don't get any sync issues, my glasses came with the monitor.

the monitor you mention comes supplied with the Nvidia kit hence yours come supplied :)

Cant seem to find this monitor no more is it old
? (Edit: found a model newer on Ocuk but it's 23inch my other 2 monitors are 24inch so annoying to find a 24inch 3d with supplied glasses for reasonable price)
