3dm06 score, a bit lower than expected, cpu lag right?

I had to clock down my cpu to 2.88 ghz to be stable, got 11965 3dmarks with a G92 8800GTS 512 mb.

Is this due to cpu lag or are there other tings that might help ?

Sounds about right for a dual core at 2.88 and gts 512mb.

I have an E4300 clocked at 3.2, and 8800GTX and 2GB. I get a score of around 11300 (ill check tomorrow morning to get exact number)

I thought that was ok, but doesn't look like it. Not sure where im loosing out though, would it simply be CPU? being an e4300 its short on cache.

Just finished benching with mine, got 10452, spec in sig. Had to do a bit of tweaking to get everything running at nice speeds in Vista, but it's been worth it

P.S: Hmmm, might pop over to XP to compare...

I've got an e2180 @3.2 and an overclocked 256mb 3850pro and i got around 10300. seen 10500 with max overclock on graphics card. Thats on vista x64. I've been thinking of getting an 8800 but think i'll be better to wait and see what come out this year

about 11K is about right for a dual core and an 8800. Scores only start going up noticeably when you start getting seriously overclocked quads.

That's ok then. Guess the difference between GTS and GTX isn't that big when it comes to 3d Mark scores? Not at lower resolutions anyway. Always knew it only came into to its own at higher res.

I've been toying with idea of getting a Q6600, I could hopefully expect to get 3.4 - 3.6 out of it on this board. Anyone know what score I could expect?
