Hi all,

How is 11,215?

spec is a q6600, 4gb ram, raid 0, 8800gtx under vista 32bit.

Is it way below par?

I aint ran in Vista64 yet, in XP32 I get 14500.

E6850 @ 3.8GHZ

2GB Dominator PC6400 C4 (got rid of 4GB as not clockable)

1x Raptor X (cant run Raid0 till mod HDD cage because of length of GPU)

1x 8800 Ultra Superclock @ 700/2400, (stock is 655/2250)

All parts get Max score of 5.9 in Vista apart from CPU which scores 5.8 at speed above, I think 4GHZ would cure that.

i get 11050 with 2gb, 8800gtx stock, e6300 @ 3GHZ

edit: 3d mark by itself means very little. depending on what game and what res you will either be cpu limited or gpu limited.

in my setup i am GPU limited as i play at 2560x1600 so upgrading my processor to a faster one would give me no increased performance in the games i play but would increase my 3dmark06 score by 2k or more.

1 x 8800GTX oc slightly
4 gigs ram
1x raptor x

How much does ram speed influcnece the score im running at 1:1 atm would that be quicker 3:5 for exmple ?

I ran it yesterday on Vista and got 4866 with an E4500, X1950Pro 256MB and 2GB 667mhz RAM. All at stock though. Going to upgrade my cooling next month and OC the ***p out of it!

Ive crept it up to 12301 now with q6600 @ 2.7ghz, 8800 gtx @ 607mhz core and 986mhz memory bus.

Thats ok for a dell right?

I didn't think vista 32bit ran 4gb of ram? Anyway, I'd be interested in seeing the performance difference (drop) on vista 64.

It runs it, but it will only see 3gb ram

My specs in my sig,

With vista 64 i had a score of 12999, going back to XP tonight. Im going to loose 512MB but i just find vista terrible for gaming.
