hi all ive just ran a test and think somthing is up, me spec is as follows

abit nf7-s 2.0
amd mobile cpu clocked to 2.2ghz
1gig of corsair xms twin pair
hyper type r
weston digi 70gig limited edtition 8mb cach
7600 gt agp leadtec (just got it).
onboard sound.

i get:

3d score 2905
sm2 score 1319
sm3/hdr score 1203
cpu score 805

please help and advise.

i set me driver config in the g/c driver section to 3dmark 06.

i was getting low fps i was hopeing for a highr fps in the tests as ive just upgraded from a 9800pro.

Your score is fine, supposed to get low FPS, benchmark has to scale for stuff like Quad SLI

U can allways use the Project Search & Compare feature on the website.

Your card should be able to get around 6k 3dmark05. Your score is probably being held back by your CPU. Will it overclock any further? I don't have much experience with socket A so can't really advise you on how to get extra performance from it.

Try updating the drivers for your mobo, graphics and sound.

you should have run the test with you 9800 then with the 7600 and see the difference it made.

what on an agp mobo think not m8 .

ive got the fastest cpu speeds you can get for an agp board unless i clock it even more that i could me temps are low at load 35c max.

The Asrock 939 Dual-SATA2 motherboard has both an AGP slot and a PCI Express slot. It could be an option to upgrade to that as well as getting one of the dual core 939 CPU's before they run out. It'll also leave you with the option for PCI Express in the future.

ive headr of them pci/agp combos but tbh when i go to a new mobo it will have to be dual g/c`s eg sli/xfire.may go the intel cpu to very rare as ive been a fan boy of amd for years.
heard good things of the new intel chips.
