3DMark DirectX Raytracing Feature Test & Port Royal Bench Thread.

Sorry to be a pain but can i submit/ have my score updated again please? Was wondering why mine was a bit low and realised i was being a bit of a noob and had a setting wrong in the bios!

You can update your score as often as you need to as long it is an increase.:)

What was the wrong setting in the bios?, most CPU and bios settings don't make much difference in this bench.

Perfect thank you! I updated the bios recently which had reset all the settings and I forgot to save my setup before updating. Afterwards I noticed my load times into windows went from around 10 seconds upto 17 seconds according to task manager. I was also having a weird issue where Windows would start zoomed in at 300% then five seconds later it would sort itself out. Decided to do a fresh install of Windows but it was still doing it on the fresh install.

Sitting at the pc last night looking a GPU-Z when all of a sudden I noticed that it said the gpu was running at X4 instead of X16! Went back into to the bios and found a setting for the PCIE M.2 drives was incorrectly set and this was stealing the X16 performance from my GPU. Changed it and booted back into Windows and task manager was reporting startup times of ten seconds again and the zoomed in issue on startup of Windows was also gone. Applied my gpu overclock and run Port Royal and score went up by 1000 points there abouts.

Had been niggling me since submitting my score here as my system seemed to be running quicker than other system scores above me but mine was coming away with a lower score. I knew something had to be wrong because of this and also the boot time of 17 seconds although performance/fps in most games seemed fine.

All sorted now though. :)
