3d 03 = 15300

3d 05 = 11500

4d 06 = 5200

Are these scores about right for my system (in sig)? They were slightly higher, but I started farting around with settings and they have gone down a bit! I am using the cats 6.10 with everything set to performance.

Unfortunately, I can't publish the scores, the Orb says something about unknown components (1950xt?) or inconsistencies during the test.

Tbh, I thought the 3d 03 score would be a bit higher as well as the 06 one.

they dont look to bad, but could maybe be a little better. ive got some 3dmarks in my sig to compare.

3dm06 however gets a big chunk of its score from cpu speed, so not very good for comparing gfx but youll still see an increase once you do whatever is needed to get the other scores up.

the orb probably still needs updating to recognise 1950xt device id's. took a long while for em to add 1950pro.

Thanks. I was just wondering about the 03 score, but if the CPU is more important to the end result then maybe that's why it seems a bit down?

best way to be sure i think is too lookup some comapre urls in the orb database that closely matches your system and see what others are getting.

might not find other 1950xt's to compare, but look for similar x1900 scores.

I've had a look at the compare pages, but not only is my card generic the opty is as well. So i get scores in a mghz range, people with core 2s which can be depressing. Though, got to say, the old opty seems to be able to keep pace (just) with most of them.

Makes you wonder if it is worth upgrading to a dual core since there don't seem to be any multi-threaded games out yet anyway.
