I've just run 3DMark05 on my system (see sig. except for my new Sapphire 512mb X1950 Pro)
I left everything on the settings as default (as its the free version I am trying and you cant change anything anyway) and I go 8324 !?!?!?

This seems VERY low, even considering my old CPU!?!?

Anyone any ideas??

Wouldnt say ** cpu is too slow but it isnt helping. But it shouldnt give low scores in the 05 version of 3d mark due to it not really being a cpu test. Its mostly gfx card based.

I've only run it with my existing 6.11 drivers!

So is this the correct score for my system? I know my CPU is pretty old now but I though 3DMark was a benchmark for your graphics card?!?

My games seem to run better now (GRAW & BF2) so you guys dont think my new card is faulty in any way??

Also, just bought a Freezer 64 for my processor - can anyone point me towards the idiots guide to overclocking??

Nah not faulty mate. Just some of the other parts of ** comp is the cause of the score im guessing.

OC guide, go to the subforum for overclocking lol and check the stickies.

Within 3DMark 05 there are a few CPU tests but I didnt think it should affect the score so badly!
