I am just testing a new system and feel that these scores are a little low.
3dmark06 16,500
Vantage 4,900

Asus Maximus Formula
Q9450 @ 3gig
8gb pc6400
BFG 9800 GX2
Vista 64

That score would put you 8th in the Quad core, single GPU list and the people either side of you have their Q6600s clocked at 3.6Ghz & 3.9Ghz so your score seems fine to me.

Yep it will be the cpu that is holding the score back. I get 16k in 06 with my cpu at 3.6 ~ 3.7. posting the score breakdown would help us see where it is being dragged down. I would put £10 on it being the CPU though.

It isn't, I get 11k in Vantage with 3.1Ghz Dual Core
