3DMark Vantage Extreme Bench

i've got this on a disk somewhere. i'll dig an optical drive and that disk out and give it a go :)

edit: i've decided i don't like this benchmark. fine on gpu test, crashes on cpu test. so i lower the cpu clock and it crashes on the gpu test? wtf

It is a very tough test on CPU overclocks and for useful for testing them.:)

Run both at stock to make sure the benchmark completes, then tune accordingly.

My less than stellar contribution ;)

Windows 8.1 64bit, Catalyst 14.9 WHQL, Powercolor R9 290 PCS+ (1170/1600 +100mv)

GFX Score: 28636
Physics Score: 35951

It is actually a very good score.:)

It shows the 4 cores on your CPU running more efficiently than the 6 cores on my 3970X and also taking into account the clockspeeds your 290P is running a lot better than my 290X.:)
