3dmark05 score

I currently get 2280 in 3dmark05 with my 9700pro on a be7 with a 2.4b northy. bought a 7600gs(awaiting delivery). does anyone know what score i can expect? (just so i can gauge increase in other games such as FEAR, quake 4, etc)

3000-3550 ish probably. The gs versions arnt as good as gt versions which would have gotten you up to 5k in 3dmark 05

hmm, how overclockable is this card?

i had a pny 7600gs for a few weeks and it had the most pathetic fan i've seen in my life. but it still clocked from 400>520 on the core which isn't too shabby. the ddr2 mem didn't budge.

oh and i scored 3900 @ stock and 4400 with it overclocked in 05.

and yes those scores were with my sig rig so son't expect as many points with your crap p4.

In the next coming months I'm ordering one of those asrock Dual boards and a 4300 C2D and planning to o/c the hell out of it..
For £150 this should give me a nice boost

ok,

I got my new card and got 3768 score in 3dmark05.

An odd thing I noticed when I installed cool bits, was that the gpu clock was set at 350Mhz instead of the 400Mhz I was expecting. I moved the slider to 400Mhz and got an increase from 3482 to the above score (3768). Whats the crack with that?!

Going to overclock more now......

...and maybe volt mod it tomorrow
