Having something of an unexpected problem after upgrading my PC.
Upgraded my 939Dual-SATA2 with the AM2CPU daughterboard, the X2 5000+ Black Edition and 4GB (2x2BG) PC6400 Cas5 (Black Dragon) from Geil. It was previously a 939 X2 4600+ and 2GB (4x512MB) Crucial RAM. See the sig for the rest of the info.
Since the upgrade I can't view my 3DMark06 result online. It gets through the tests fine but when I hit the view results button I'm informed that '3DMark06 has stopped responding and needs to close'. I get the same result in XP and Vista.
RAM is at stock timings and voltage. CPU's been tested at stock and at 3GHz (stock voltage) with the same results. Had Prime95 (latest version) running for several hours (@3GHz) and get no errors. I've tried reinstalling 3DMark06 in Vista and that didn't work.
Think the 1T/2T setting is currently set to 'auto' in BIOS. I might try that later. At work now and left the PC running Memtest. Any other ideas?
Edit: Don't think I have the Oct 07 Hotfix. I'll try that later.
