Just got the first chance to benchmark my new system which is below:

BFG 8800GT OC2 (675/1674/1950)
Intel Q6600 (2.4 Ghz)
4 GB Corsair (800 Mhz - 4-4-4-12)

Result = 11996

Does that look about right? Everything is at stock, want to compare this benchmark to the one when I overclock the cpu.

the intel processor you have over my amd 4400 dual seems to give you about 2-3000 more points,would this reflect in games as in COD4 i seem to be in the upper 80's most of time with max settings?dont want to upgrade just if no need at present.
thanks

I get that score with my setup so possibly a little low, but doesnt really matter - its in game performance that counts

Is that Vista or XP?

I get 13700 in Vista 64 and 14400 in XP (169.09 drivers).

Q6600 @ 3.4Ghz
4 GB GeIL 6400C4 @ 850Mhz
8800GTX @ 610 / 1003

Thanks for all the replies you've put my mind at rest, yeah everything is at stock and I'm using Vista 64bit. Games run like a treat though not had one problem yet :) will try an overclock next week or maybe the week after it, not pushed at the minute.
