Hi guys. I'm trying to use the UVW unwrap part of 3ds i.e. creating the seams around the character so i can map the images on. The problem i have is that there is a seam running up the middle of the character that i don't know how to get rid of!
Does anyone know how to get rid of it? I think i might be something to do with the way i created the model, i've created half of it then used mirror instance and converted to mesh.. not sure if this is causing it to think it's in 2 halfs?

Thanks for any replies, Sainte!

if i'm not being clear here is an example:

if you look at the image you can see the blue seam running from the belt all the way up to the head and then back down to the belt. I didn't put this seam in, it's done it for me for some reason..

As you can see i cant select the whole front of my body, instead only half of it.

Select the Gizmo of the UVW Unwrap and rotate it around the side of the character, try and edit out any visable seems later.
Use Cylindrical wraps as much as possible (Torso, Arms, Legs, Neck, Head are all acceptable).

If you are having problems always turn it to the least visable angle, try and turn them away from the chest.
