How about the fact 2.8ghx dual core optys are also coming. Seriously though, wouldnt look into any of this sersiously till after june though

Only half the truth: Opterons are the enterprise-class chip and do both workstation and server work extremely well. The rack-server chips are much lower voltage and have outputs of only around 25W... but they're much more expensive and I'm not sure I've seen any past 146 yet.
