3m DI-NOC

Suprised how many different styles of Vinyl they do :)
 
I'd really like to see some of the 3M vinyl in the flesh as the photos make it look anywhere from mistakable for real carbon fibre to a weird shiny blue mess :p

I've put mine up for swaps on an owners forum. 3M do a Di-Noc in brushed aluminium and it looks great, going to give that a go next!!
 
Bump for an old thread, no point in starting a new one :)

Looking to wrap my fascia, ash tray, gear surround and headlight switch surround. Decided I didn't want to get CF style again, have settled with the 'black' brushed aluminium I think, 3M ME-1175...

I've found some Matt black 3M DI-NOC on the bay... £14 for 1.5 meters x 50CM so I will be using that to replenish my door trim... fantastic price!
 
Thinking about sorting my trim out, I have oem carbon print but its flaking off the passenger door pull.

Only thing putting me off is it might turn out looking and feeling cheap.

All my trim panels are actually made out of aluminium, so freezing in the winter and hot in the summer, feel really solid, if I wrap it may end up looking and feeling pants.
 
I'm very tempted to do the bits of silver aluminium effect trim inside my car, ie the clock surround and strips on the door cards, either back brushed aluminium or carbon fibre. I can't decide. I think carbon fibre effect is a little overdone though, but I think black brushed aluminium would go nicely with the rest of the interior.
 
How much do they send? The strips on my doors are about 50cm long :D


It seems that it's impossible to get any other DI-NOC finishes other than the carbon fibre in the UK :( Found some other stuff on eBay though so might give that a whirl
