3rd date suggestions

Take her to a gay bar!
I've got a 100% success rate with taking girls to gay bars and then getting some (with the girl) afterwards. I'm nowhere near the 100% mark with 'normal' dates. One was in London, near Covent Garden actually but I forget the name...
They are often a lot of fun, quite cheesy, very relaxed and have quite a different atmosphere than a 'normal' bar.
Though, if you have a problem with the gays then it's probably not advisable.
Thinking about it, probably better as a spontaneous thing than meeting her and saying "right, we're off to a bar with topless bar men and lots of coke in the toilets!".
But, 100% success rate speaks for itself!

OMG, TEH GAYZ R HERE!

Sir, I concede this battle to you.

However I still win the war, Nott's is not a place that I would want to become trapped in again.

It's not that bad really. Great for a night out, but not a lot more to do. :p

Looking at your sig, are you sure the gay bars are for getting girls? :p

Depends what circles you run in surely? Some would be content buying a bottle of cheap cider and sitting on the swings in the park.

I have genuine interest! :p

You only ever see it being suggested online but I've yet to come across anyone that's even considered it a possibility!

Something Inventive - maybe not gonna happen on Good Friday. If you get to the 4th date suggest dinner at yours and strip twister after.

And what is it with women and casino's, do they really go in for that? Only use them for a late drink myself

dinner and drinks is the obvious choice because it works. If you can cook, wow her with your tasty skillz. Wacky dates come accross as just that. In my day it was a few drinks and a knee trembler. The younger generation of men are so sensitive.

Hey all, I had always promised myself not to make this type of thread, but I'm a bit stuck at the moment.

On Friday, I have my 3rd date with this girl. I think she's into me and I like her, so I want to put some effort in for our next date. I've suggested dinner and drinks but this kinda feels like a bit of a cop out. The main problem is I'm stuck with evening dates at the moment due to both of our work commitments. The cinema isn't really good date material in my opinion but I'm clutching at straws for other ideas.

We both live in Nottingham but I'm at a loss for date ideas that don't just involve drinking and eating.

Any good suggestions from you, the lovely people of OcUK?

Oh, and if you have any suggestions for future dates, that would be awesome too :)

If it's decent weather, the bar at Sal****er with the outside terrace in the Cornerhouse is worth a shout.

Otherwise, a walk around the castle if it's early evening?

Bowling is a bit cheesy, but you'll be near the Lace Market for drinks afterwards?

What about an ice hockey game?

If you want to properly impress with knowledge of the city, there's a great little place called Cafe Delilah across the road from Pitcher and Piano. There's also a great little cafe down near Market bar - on the road that has the indie cinema.

I'd also really recommend The Ropewalk (pub quiz night) and Tarn Thai if you're looking for a reasonably priced, but amazing restaurant. When the weather gets nicer, check out the Arboretum down near Trent Uni SU.

There you go. Three years of uni dating highlights combined for your dating pleasure ;) Enjoy!

Dancing is an excellent choice - salsa is good to start on as it's easy footwork for the most part, meaning you can concentrate more on holding her hands and making her look good ;)

Many salsa classes will run a social afterwards - find one running in a place with a nice bar. Then, you can sit out the intermediate/advanced class (if there is one) after you've been to the beginners' having a nice drink and a chat - and suitably lubricated you can go try out your new skills once the social begins!

Good luck duder :)

Yeah I met my other half at Salsa, beginners classes are great fun.. You will spend half the night dancing with other girls though ;)

On the other hand, the only thing I can see on in Nottingham is the WWE Smackdown Wrestlemania Revenge Tour

She's a Girl, Ignore her !!!

Dancing should be slow & grindy, We are English we don't do all that Latin Malarkey poncing about rubbish.
Get her Drunk & fill her with food to slow her down so she can't run away.
Once Nekkid you can horizontal dance with her all you like but don't shake her about to much as she may Sick on you.

(JOKE)

I'm shocked there have been no suggestions for taking her up the oxo tower?

I dont think theres an oxo tower in Notts is there??:p

I have absolutely no idea as to what to do...my first date was sitting in the starbucks at Canary wharf drinking coffee whilst talking...in fact the 2nd date was there too lol...then 3rd date i took her for dinner and now we are inseparable...good thing she works like literally 2 mins away from me:D
