3x24" widescreen Monitor rack? (eyefinity)

infact, if you look and my pic above, I usually sit with keyboard paralle to the middle monitor and me facing it. And I rest my right elbow on the desk when use the mouse and use my forearm on the edge when typing with both hands. My left elbow is always resting on the desk.

I didn't like the corner desk set up. Thats what I've replaced with the large centre desk.

Here's a pic of the old desk set up

Its for sale now desk, two pedastle, Booke Case and Display Cabinet.

That link could be classed as a competitor, might want to remove it.

Unknownsock - It actually states in the description "if your monitors are wider than 30cm/ea or larger than 15" in nominal size , you will need to buy two additional long arms modules"

And I'll agree, 3 in portrait for gaming just doesn't look good imo.

Edit: Just looked on Ergotron site and the only stands that can do tripple monitors that are desk mounts are This and This and neither can do tripple 24". Personally I'd go with one to do two screens, and then another stand for the last one, however as I've never used monitor arms/mounts before, I can't give advice on what ones to choose, only that Ergotron seem to be looked at at high quality.

I have this..

Decent stand BUT if you keep adding arms you come to the problem that each joint does in fact sag and you will need 2 extra Long arms on each side so a total of 4.

This causes problems.

Only ay to solve this is to buy 12M 3mm thick washers and place them in each joint, that fixes the sagging :)

Once my new Dell 2408 and HP L2475 come i will post a pic if you like

This is one of the other reasons I didn't go for the desk mount options, the wieght of the 24inch monitors is going to put to much strain on those arms.

Will be interested to see yours when it is completed.

Sweet monitors guys

I would really like to have a go at this. I have a 2407 which is very nice, unfortunately they don't seem to be available any more, I am not sure about this Dell U2410 with IPS panel, I think my 2007 is IPS and it isn't as good as the 2407 by a long shot (pva panel?).

Has anyone used both?

Not used both together. I had the same concerns as you in regards to how different monitors would look next to each other especially in terms of colours.

If you can accept second hand you can. Ormally find 2407's for sale on the members Market.

just to annoy you a bit. that left monitor is below the other 2....

And just to annoy you a bit, its the right monitor that below the other 2 lol Biiiig slant on, that would irritate me, i'd rip em off the wall & start again. Get the job done properly (with a level) :D
