in my head i have an idea for my fractal arc mini but im wondering if it has been done.

the idea goes like this:

240 rad up top

2x 240 rads at the front of the case

top section is a birds eye veiw and the lower section is the side veiw.

also the space between the bottom of the case and the bottom of the 5.25 bays is 270mm so there is space for the rads. also the hdd caddies will be cut out and the hdd and ssd will be moved to an undecided area, probably behind the motherboard or possibly mounted under the 5.25 drive bays

You might struggle with 270mm, the smallest 240mm rad I can find is 275mm. Also, are you planning for air to get to the rads via the front of the case or modding the sides? (which would be cool imo)

fans will be located at the front of the case and i planned on adding fans to both case sides to intake air where the rads will be placed. also another 120mm fan will be pulling air in from the bottom of the case and ill add another fan pulling in air at the back of the case.

all the air will exit out the top of the case through the top 240

it all works in my head :p

i could cut the bottom out of the 5.25 bay which would allow a bit more room for rads also.

Sounds fine to me.

I've just had rad vents laser cut in the sides of a Define XL for my own build, here's a few pics for ideas if it helps:

i read your build log and its builds like yours that make me want to go watercooling and mod my case. im very jealous....

ive been looking at the 120mm rads instead and it may be more practical to have 120mm fans stacked on each other as that way i believe i can fit 4 of them in the space.

atm it will cool my 2500k and a 7970 but i may add in a second 7970 later. im getting this all planned but the build wont start till after christmas
