4 bay enclosure question

Hi all... I have recently purchased a 4 bay JBOD external caddy (OCUK didnt have any in stock) and I dont like the way the drives now go into sleep mode..

Do you know if there are any settings in windows that will disable the sleep mode?

The item is Icy Box IB-3640SU3...

It just seems to take ages to come out of sleep mode and it enters sleep mode quite quickly as well..

Select Power Options dialogue in Win 7, t 'Change when my computer sleeps , then advanced power settings'. There's an option for 'Hard disk' and 'Turn off hard disk .


Maybe it will be usb you have to change, if this doesnt work it could be the hard drives firmware that makes it power down.
