Hi Guys,
I'm running an Asus P5K with Corsair 4GB DDR2 XMS2 DHX PC2-6400C4DHX. I've only recently upgraded from 2GB to 4GB. Now I'm having real stability problems from within the O/S (XP SP2) The system freezes all the time and restarts itself every now and again for no reason. I had no problems before I had 4GB installed so I'm pretty certain it's to do with this.
Does anyone know why this would be happening? My BIOS settings are all set to default and I can see the whole 4GB. XP can see's 3.25GB of the RAM which is fine as I'd read it can only handle up to 3GB but I'm sure it shouldn'r crash like this.
I had a quick look on the forums here and was unable to see anything on this so maybe someone could help?
Thanks.
