4 New Builds - budget = £24,000

i could spend 1k on a pc that will perform just aswell as a 10k pc would in games :S

seriously common sense use it.

4x 1k pcs
4x uber monitors or projectors
4x ps3
4x xbox360

far less than 26k yet loads more fun.

£6000 is easy to spend when building a good PC - The one i already have was over 5 grand! I inherited a large amount of money a few months ago - and although I shouldn't say, for fear of coming across as a show off, the amount of money was in the millions!
So yes, £24k is pocket money! I've already given 100k to cancer research so I think I deserve a little treat.

Any more info is welcomed!

Honestly, why would you even sit and ask us? Surely your better off just going to Alienware or such and asking them to sort you out.

Ok so...

Enjoy ;)

I would never buy from a company like Alienware! Horrible cases and you're going to get ripped off through the cost of brand and assembly! I asked on here because this message board is full of clued up people. More so than me!

This is one thing I'd love to be able to do.....buy a games room for my mates :)

Just need to finish education and make my first million ;)

bloody hell, and my machine destroy everything and it cost me about 1k

personaly I would spend no more than 2k on each machine, you can always overclock the nuts off them

i would really feel sorry for OCuk building al those computers for one person xD

Im building a gaming room in my house for me and my mates - Ive got one pc but want another 4. Theyve gotta be absolute killer machines, only the best parts please! The budget is £6000 a piece. Can you list everything too please, from cpu to mouse and keyboard, monitor and sound!

you being serious or ?

can i be your friend? ha

You mean the one in your sig? Most people could build a rig that would perform comparably in any game you like for half the price.

PC component spending suffers from a massive effect of diminishing returns. You pay su much more for so much less the more you spend. It's your money mate, and we've given some suggestions that'll play great for you. But over next year there'll be hexacore i9s, NVidia's fermi, hopefully USB 3 will be in full swing before too long..

My point is that to maintain the best of the best of the best, you'll always have to be reinvesting thousands and thousands every year, when new tech comes out. The difference you see will be marginal compared to a more reasonably priced machine, and you'll quickly see your fortune dwindling from your expenditure.

/Ok, rant over.

Only other info i can think of to give is that you should maybe call OcUK and talk to their sales department. If you're really really looking to spend that much, they should be able to give you some good deals.

Don't buy components, buy full rigs, like psycha's suggestion.

That's about all i can think of to say :p

See my 5k spec. only thing i would want to change is the monitor to a 30-36" and a 19" touch screen and a few other tweaks as this was speced up a long time ago, but is still pretty much spot on.

hey hey - There's no need to suspend him, that's very disproportionate and no offence was taken by his comment!
The rules apply to everyone and are very clear - no personal insults. That's why you will find this place one of the friendliest forums on the net where people can post without being verbally abused.
