Hi there
Just ordered a new Mobo, CPU and RAM, but already have a OCZ StealthXStream II 500w.
However, I noticed that my new Mobo has an 8-pin connector to power the CPU whilst my PSU only has a 4-pin cable.
From abit of research, and looking at the mobo manual, I understand that it will run fine with the 4-pin, but in the future would it be possible to invest in a connector or adaptor that will allow me to convert the 4-pin into an 8 pin?
I have seen some Molex > 8-pin adaptors around the web, but I am sceptical.
Spec:
AMD Phenom II X2 555BE
Gigabyte GA-MA785GMT-UD2H
Thanks a lot
