ok go for it guys - as much as i LOVE my E6600 it probs wont cut it in a few months and its time for some upgrading loveliness.

Im a little shell shocked as to the choices so if someone could give me a definitaive it would be appreciated.

Im not adverse to the old OCUK bundles either.

Thanks in advance.

For an extra £6 I would add this memory OCZ Obsidian 6GB (3x2GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C9 1600Mhz Triple Channel Kit (OCZ3OB1600LV6GK) at a price of £79 :)

If you sell any parts am here! xixi

if your talking about the i5 spec above, lynnfield uses dual channel not triple channel memory.

hp7909's spec is good although i don't think the Tuniq Tower has a bracket for the LGA1156 socket yet?

Kenny made a good recommendation there, however, I would opt for the newer Samsung F3 1Tb which has 2 platters of 500Gb as opposed to the WD Black's 320Gb platter, so should be faster in terms of performance, please correct me if I'm wrong, plus a bit more storage for only a ~couple of quid more although there is the lesser warranty with the Samsung.

all im actually looking for is a cpu, mobo and ram - dont need a csae, gpu or cooling.

Really sorry - i should have told you guys that in my original post.
