£400 GPU Upgrade New or Used?

3080 is the best performance for £400 or even as low as £350 on MM, matches the 7800XT in raster at 1440p while comfortably winning in RT, to get more performance new you have to spend over £700 which is a bit of joke considering I got my 3080 new for £649 + game over 3 years ago now.
