Have £400 to spend on a tv for upstairs.
No real preference on the spec to be honest apart from VESA compatible.

Thinking maybe 4k for when I get a PS4 Pro or One X however not completely essential.

I just want good picture quality above everything else.

Any suggestions please? Looking at:
SAMSUNG UE40MU6100

SAMSUNG UE40MU6470U

Purchased a 43UJ701V a few weeks back, magic remote is excellent, never going to be a world beating picture at this price but looks good to me.

I’ve bought one of these to use as a 4K monitor, the picture quality is excellent for the money and I’ve noticed no problems gaming on it with my PC whatsoever - Battlefront 2 looks jaw dropping @4k on a 43” screen!

My partner has the 55inch version of the same model, her lad plays his XBox one through it and that looks equally epic despite it not being the One X.

My mate thought me mad to get such a tv for a desktop monitor but having seen it, understands why now!

@rhysduck - I Highly recommend it. :)

Id also recommend LG brand for the TV ive been impressed with them previously had Panasonic Viera and Sony Bravia and the LG is better overall value
