I can't say that I'm surprised TBH.
I would never cheap out on a GPU, and buy a random budget brand like Asrock/Palit/Zotac/Powercolor.

The countless horror stories that I've heard always concrete that point, and if you can afford X model card, then you can afford to buy a proper brand.

i am getting a 5080S when its out, but i am coming from a GTX 1080 so that is kind of justifed. it will feel like upgrdaing from a pocket calculator to pocket calulator with a bigger screen and buttons for me when it happens.
