Do we have any information about pre-ordering the 4090's or if that's even gonna be possible?

Also, can you only get the FE directly from nVidia?

Yeah, I can't see this being anything like the 3000 release...apart from people may buy them in the hope to scalp, but they're already too expensive to do that IMO. DSR returns galore.

I dont understand the obsession in looking at others people money. Would 4090 be a silly choice? It is a bit pricy, but nothing extortionate, its better value than 3090ti was at launch. Not to mention scalper prices of 3080 1-2 years ago.

At the end of the day gaming as a hobby is still quite cheap compared to others, like golf/scuba diving etc.

Scalper prices were due to mining though, that ship has now sailed at present so there is no reason for anyone to pay those prices.

Whilst I agree it's still quite cheap compared to other hobbies, but when you can buy a ps5, series x and an oled switch with nearly a grand left over compared to a 4090 its just a bit ridiculous.

I don't do any of the aforementioned things. I'd much rather stay home than go out somewhere and blow a bunch of cash on a night out.

For me gaming, hardware upgrades, maintenance and tweaking is like how people spend their spare time working in the garage on their car.
