40D or 50D?

Olv, it was £859 for a brand new boxed fully warrantied UK stock 50D body only :)

Now you'll be, "Damn, i don't have the best of the range!", Maybe that's just me...:p

I'm sure you'll be more than happy with it over the 350D, i know i was when i got my 30D. Gonna plump for a 50D when i can get a good price on one e.g. sub £800.
 
hmm it's a saving not to be sniffed at but imo it's not 'a stupidly good price'. I was expecting you to have been offered one for about £750 which would make it a tough decision. At £400 difference though I wouldn't be going for the 50D either :)

There will always, always, always be a better body available. I still shoot with a 5 year old 10D and I know for a fact my images wouldn't look any better (apart from high ISO obv) for what I shoot compared to a 50D.

And you can already get the 50D sub £800 on ebay.
