Currently looking at the LG 42PC1D for £750.
Basically my dad wants an impressive TV at a low price and I'd like it to play my 360 via component (That's the 3 leads right?) in HD.
So, any better TV's for similar prices?
Anyone have the LG 42PC1D and have any comments?
Also, does anyone know if the LG sets have a 2 year warranty? I read it somewhere but aren't sure.

Regards,
Ash

Have one and I have to say i am very impressed. Panasonic stock was hard to come by when I ordered, but the styling is excellent and the picture excellent also. The remote is responsive, menus nice and screen burn a non issue as long as you take some care. I'm very happy.

silly question, but does burn only occur when you leave the same image static on the TV for a period of time? Any other instances when burn can occur?

Whats the quality of these cheap plasmas compared to the quality of say a sammy/sony 42" £1200 lcd tv, apart from the obvious issue of screen burn in games? At this price I'm thinking there must be some sort of drawback. How do lcd tvs at the same price compare?
