Ive just bought this chip ....Upgraded from a opteron 144 which i had @ 2.4ghz

id like to clock this chip a little to say 2.6 if possible

Im running a dfi lanparty

If i change the

FSB FREQ = 240

LDT /FSB = X3

CPU / FSB = X11

And up the vcore to 1.4

what would i need the ram divider set too?

3/4

Thanks

try and make the ram run at stock or just above, does your board give you the current DDR speed?

Hmm not too sure about that....where would i find that ?

Thanks

fsb - 265
ldt ratio - x3.0
ldt width - 16 16
cpu/fsb - x9
pci exp - 100mhz
cool n quiet - disable
cpu startup - 1.425v
cpu vid control - 1.425
cpu special control - auto
ldt voltage - 1.3v
chipset voltage - 1.5v
dram voltage - 2.6v

dram config:-
dram freq set (divider's) - 133=ram/fsb:03/04
cpc - enable

Ram cas latency - 3

^^^Thats what i had with my opty 144 which i got the info from here...so thats what im working off really

03/04 divider is 199mhz which is pretty bang on with the ram

try setting your ram divider to 180 which will set your ram to 220Mhz then run memtest to see if you get errors, if you do then you may want to set it to 166 instead which is around 188Mhz.

I have my 4200 at 2.6GHz by using 4x HT, 10x multi and FSB 260. RAM is set to 166MHz (5/6) which works out at 216MHz. My VCore is at 1.375V.

Thanks guys.....ill have a go in a bit

Sorry may be a dumb question but whats 4x HT on a dfi board ?

Thanks
