If you consider the 20 quid cash back then its not too far off £450.

Just wondering a few points about it

CPU, would the 8120 if overclocked be good enough so that I could record minecraft again (I used to record some videos but then as my laptop aged and minecraft got more bloated and I couldn't get decent frame rates), also I might do a CAD course (my dad's going to do it through his business and said that he'd pay for me to do it as well, also I might be doing something like that for school as well)

Ram, is the ram I've picked not better than the black as it has a lower CL number? Also its the same price.

Case, is this case any good or should i go for the bit fenix one?

You have had 3 people straight spec an Intel CPU. Why do you keep going back to the AMD CPU? Does it not tell you something? AMD clock for clock, pound for pound, have nothing on Intel.. ;)

Thats why I said, "Is this build any good: " in my post.

I am aware that people specced me Intel processors but I was only going by the advice of a couple of friends who said that if I could get the 8120 for a similar price, which it is if you take off the £20 rebate, then to go for it as it was better than the intel for multi tasking.

Currently as it stands, Intel CPUs are better in every single aspect over AMD CPUs.

Go with Doomedspeed's spec. ;)

The i3 does better for general stuff and gaming, but the 8120 will help with CAD thanks to the extra cores. Went with the 460 since it has CUDA support, which will help with the CAD work assuming the software you're using supports it. Any case will do as this is down to personal preferences really.
