Just to add one thing of note for the 5800x3d is that it's likely always going to be in demand on the second hand market. It adds significant extra life to an am4 build and will stave off a complete overhaul for years for people who are already on am4 - and there are loads of people on am4. This mean it'll hold a premium for longer, like the q9650 (I think) did for socket 775. It's the best value proposition by far. You'd have enough left over to drop another 16gb of ram in there too.

I've never actually used either of those. Will give it a go thanks.

On a sidenote, how much do you think I could expect to sell my 5600X, B450M-HDV and 16GB DDR4 3000 for?

Reckon £200 odd give or take. Last 5600x I saw sold here was £115. EBay has couple boards on offer at £80, and ram get £20/30ish..you can get brand new 3200c16 for £44, corsair £49, so yours 2nd hand and slightly slower not sure how many posts you need to get to members mkt..used to be 1k, but they might of changed it..if selling on fleabay or like remember you'll pay fees etc

Thanks, yeah that's the sort of figure I had in mind.

@Quartz I've just installed Afterburner. I've never used it before
