460 types?Confused.please help.

I am about to buy a Titan exodus and will be requesting a 460 card.
I was thinking about the Zotec but i see there are now several brands alll around the same price. The msi,palit,etc etc.
Will i notice any substantial difference between these cards or would it just be a few frames per second difference?
I was opting for the Zotec as i read a good review and it has 5 yr warranty but now i see the MSi seems to be quite good but only has 2 year warranty.
Any advice appreciated.

but the cooler designs are very different.
but paliet have been known to be bad if they have no vmr heatsink.

You'll want a 1gb model if you play at a high res, but the 1gb models will give you more fps over all res compared to the 768mb model

depends how much noise you like from your coolers, msi and giga, and the reference coolers are known to be quieter than palit, gainward, even zotac coolers I believe

msi is also supposed to have superior build quality compared to other models, look the cards up

Nothing wrong with the palit 1gb noise is fine temps are gr8

Correction, noise is 'better' now, but you have to manually flash your BIOS to get it so.

And even then you still get fan motor noise.


Whereas the Giga and the MSI are pretty much silent under load and give better temps.

It seems to me that most of the 460 1GB models can be overclocked easily to 800/1600/2000, so get the cheapest and overclock it.
