480.... should I wait to upgrade or SLI

Simple question hopefully been thinking of buying another GTX 480 1.5gb ver to SLI. But well they still are not that cheap really.

Is it worth buying another 480 to SLI or do you think I would be better off just waiting for the next round of Nvidia cards to come around ? I want to stick to Nvidia because I am using the 3D Vision. Not really seen any details on here on the web as to if a new gen of Nvidia cards are due or is the 590s there next thing until flagship.
 
I think youd be best off waiting till the next release. A 480 is a pretty powerful card still. In sli, they generate a fair bit of heat/noise, and theyll need a pretty powerful psu, 900w ono.
