4800 cats 8.10 rc2

its a single 512
when i install these and go to ccc and graphics software its still showing cat version 8.8 ? and wrong drivers 8.522 ?
every time
ive uninstalled and driver sweeped
but no fan control and wrong version drivers even tho they are the right ones ???
any ideas ?

ive sorted it now, didnt extract the files correctly
 
how amazingly odd !
someone said earlier in this thread that with x2's you can select core 1 or core 2 ( i only have a 512 so i dont know, but does that have anything to do with it ????
 
maybe some people are making the same mistake i did yesterday when installing and not seeing the fan control
i kept installing from the zip file, and 7ish installs later still no fan control.
make a new folder on desktop, open the zip file with new drivers in, extract all the files into your new folder, then from there use setup icon in the folder with all the extracted files, this works and you will get the fan controller.
