There is a fix in CCC that you can do.

Open Catalyst Control Centre and enable ATI Overdrive.
Open profile manager, make a new profile and save it.
Go to C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\ATI\ACE\ and open the xml file of the new profile in notepad.

It should look something like this.

<Feature name="FanSpeedAlgorithm_0">
<Property name="FanSpeedAlgorithm" value="Manual" />
</Feature>
<Feature name="FanSpeedRPMTarget_0">
<Property name="Want" value="0" />
</Feature>
<Feature name="FanSpeedPercentTarget_0">
<Property name="Want" value="25" />

Change the FanSpeedAlgorithm value to 'manual' and the FanSpeedPercentTarget value to whatever fanspeed you want.

Save the file and reload it in the control centre.

Don't think so yet, i have mine set to about 36%, well quiet.

When i make a new profile, it doesnt show up in the ACE folder?

Any ideas why?

I had the same problem some of your files are hidden

Go to control panel

Then open folder options (should be at top my one was )

Then view

Then look for the name (hidden files and folders)

Just tick show hidden files and folders
