4850 To 5770

in the same situation, ill keep my 4850 for now tho! nothing can stop it!! even plays crysis warhead full settings (though i keep them on gamer as i like to maintain 30+fps)

would seem the 5770 is about 20% ish faster than the card you have already. Of course this is in dx10 games and the FPS is only half the story, with the 5770 supporting dx11 its a good leap in technology forward from your 4850. If you can sell the 4850 for half the cost of the 5770 then for ~£60 i reckon the 5770 is a pretty nice upgrade.

I went from 4850 to a 5750 both in crossfire. Im getting better scores with the 5750 but not by much. Moved to them cause wanted the 1gig + less noise + heat and less power, Also DX11 is also a help & i only play at 1680x1050.

The 5770 would be better again but only after you overclock it. Also if it has more ram then your 4850 ect...

It all depends on why you want to upgrade.

Well my 4850 is a 512Meg one and it just doesn't over clock :( .
I want a 5770 due to getting a bigger monitor for xmas plus DX11 for dirt2;)

You could go Xfire 4850. However 512MB is certainly a limiting factor, especially in new games going forward.
